The Universal MIDI SYSEX Patch Librarian for Windows

NoiZe:Lib is the Librarian-only version of NoiZe for Windows, the Universal MIDI Patch Editor/Librarian. NoiZe:Lib combines NoiZe's superior file management and Patch organization features with complete user-definable SYSEX Librarian capabilities in a great low-cost ($39.95) package!

NoiZe:Lib comes with instrument definitions for many popular instruments. With NoiZe:Lib, you get a serious SYSEX manager, providing patch name editing, patch-in-bank copy, move and swap, reliable MIDI communications, and the ability to deal with practically any instrument or device that communicates using MIDI SYSEX messages.

NoiZe:Lib includes a built-in Interactive Librarian Development system that lets you create a Librarian Module, (also known as an interface or profile) for virtually any SYSEX-capable device. This system lets you define communications operations including send, receive, delay, loop, and send program change. Support is provided for transfer formatting, checksums, run time plug-in of device ID, patch and bank numbers, looping operations, SYSEX string formats, and more - everything you need to build your own Librarian Modules.

NoiZe:Lib provides a MIDI Logging View that will let you see your MIDI communications in detail, including message start time and duration with millisecond resolution!

To make developing your Librarian Module as easy as possible, you can call up the interface definition from the Editor's speed menu, make a change, and try it out immediately!

You can also export your Librarian Module definitions to a text file and exchange them freely with other NoiZe and NoiZe:Lib users!

NoiZe:Lib is just like NoiZe except that it does not include the ability to manipulate the individual parameters in your SYSEX data (such as LFO rate, Filter Resonance, etc), except for the patch name. NoiZe:Lib even lets you use NoiZe's Editor Modules as your Librarian Modules. NoiZe and NoiZe:One both include all of NoiZe:Lib's Librarian Module development and support features.
